Day Camp & Overnights
Classes & Seminars
Camp K-9 of Marin has a variety of group training classes. Whether you have a puppy or a more senior dog there's a class for you. If you need more information, or have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
Camp K-9 Group Classes
Camp Puppy
Mondays 5:30pm
This is preschool for puppies younger than 16 weeks. We begin by teaching basic obedience, socialization and manners while solving common puppy problems!
Camp Basic
Mondays 6:30pm
Camp Basic is focused on helping your dog develop self-control. We also emphasize the importance of relationship, consistency, and teaching "good manners." This class is perfect for puppies over 16 weeks, adolescent dogs testing their boundaries and adult dogs that have not had a lot of training.
Camp Intermediate
Mondays 7:30pm
As an intermediate learner, we will work to solidify behaviors your dog has learned in Camp Basics (or the equivalent). This course will focus on building skills and proficiency with increasing levels of difficulty. Your dog will learn to listen and respond despite distractions. Camp Intermediate is best for Adolescent or Adult dogs with prior training.
For more information, see our Camp Greeter and they will put you in contact with Ally.
All about Ally:
We are thrilled to have Ally Stoops take over as the Director of Training here at Camp K-9! Ally has been a Trainer at Camp for 7 years and is also the owner of No Bones About It! Ally has a unique understanding of the demands that busy families and professionals face and builds customized plans that deliver real life results.
As a former instructor and behavior counselor for the Humane Society, Ally is passionate about teaching her clients the most effective dog training techniques. The result is a fun, well-mannered dog that is a great companion in all aspects of your life.
Ally "rests her dogs" locally in Mill Valley and loves spending her time actively training (and being trained by) three children, two dogs, two cats and one very patient husband.

Public Education Seminars
Public education and involvement is important to Camp K-9 of Marin. Topics may focus on diet, health, Canine Good Citizen Testing, pet insurance, hiking trail etiquette and canine massage. We are also very excited to host important canine events such as adoption days and dog sport competitions. All of these fun activities promote responsible dog ownership while benefiting our community.
